20c to tell a company that they suck, 10c to "like" something on Facebook

I do a few jobs online to try to make an extra buck or two, like online surveys sites...recently I got a survey to do, it was obvious who the company was (or who they wanted you to think of) that was conducting the survey. I answered honestly and it spelled out a major gripe I have with them - Their online service was lousy and a certain policy of theirs is utter crap...they are probably forced to by law to have it in place though.

Then I got an offer, 10c to "like" something on Facebook and "like" it for at least 1 month. That's right, it'll cost a whole 1/3 of one cent per day for me to "like" something.

It's not all bad though, I mean the site is legit and I have received payments twice before - It's just that it initially took a long time, now it seems almost steady income...low income, but a nice bonus every once in awhile.

  2. I got involved in that kinda stuff for a while. Mostly I was signing up for the kind of offers on "WIN A FREE IPOD" banners. Basically, I would have to spend $15 on offers to make $20 from whoever was paying me. I ended up making a whole 7 dollars after 5 hours of work. It wasn't really worth my time.

  3. I don't know if I'd 'like' something for 10 cents. That reflects who I am to the facebook population.

  4. People on my Facebook don't know what I did though, I doubt anyone even noticed; also if they don't like it I don't care. I do what I have to in order to pay off my house, if people can't appreciate that well they can take a hike.

  5. The site I use is called "Rewards Central", it is an Australian website. You can earn 'rewards points' in various ways, including a cool bank that earns interest. There are some catches but if you are aware of them you can avoid them. If you would like a blog entry about this let me know.

If you haven't joined and are going to do you mind using a referral? If not it's below.

  6. You can earn $20 for completing a 20 minute survey!

Guess what? This is exactly what big companies are paying for. They need to know what their average customer needs and wants. So big companies pay millions of dollars per month to the average person. In return, the average person, myself included, fills out surveys and gives them their opinion.
